Coursemojo is transforming middle school ELA instruction with the only AI-powered support system designed for both students and teachers, aligned with Wit & Wisdom, myPerspectives, HMH Into Literature, Amplify, Fishtank, and EL Education for grades 5–8. Our mission is to improve student ELA achievement and teacher satisfaction by making these high-quality materials more accessible, engaging, and easier to implement.

Coursemojo takes the exact texts, tasks, and writing assignments from HQIM and turns them into interactive, student-centered activities with differentiated support. Struggling readers, advanced students, and MLLs (with translation in 60+ languages) receive personalized scaffolding, helping them engage deeply with the content. As one partner put it, “It’s like having Tier 2 supports embedded in Tier 1 instruction.”

For teachers, Coursemojo provides a real-time dashboard that shows student progress on every question, identifies misconceptions, and offers suggested discussion prompts. It also streamlines grading and is developing trend analysis to track progress over time. Currently used in 17 districts, Coursemojo has an average teacher rating of 4.2 out of 5 for helping diverse learners succeed while making teaching more effective and enjoyable.
