Opennote

At Opennote, we’re building the autonomous Khan Academy for interactive education. We want to enable all learners to use our suite of tools to learn and continue to build their skills as they interact with their platform, from generating textbook-level accurate information with our flagship system, DeepTutor, to learning further with our base model Feynman, and mock coding interviews with our other model, Turing. Our ethos also details some more information about why we built Opennote.

We’ve noticed a significant gap in the market for personalized learning solutions, where students transitioning class levels, especially after COVID, were struggling due to a lack of high-quality personalized learning and help being provided. We built Opennote to solve that issue that our peers experienced, but as we’ve built, we’ve extended its abilities to serve a role as an end-to-end learning platform, with features for textbook learning, reinforcement of concepts, and taking notes to improve that understanding, which continues the cycle of use.
